Comments from Spring 2007 Weekends
1. We learned so much about each other and about our
relationship. We are taking away with us priceless moments and learned
skills for better communication with each other. It was a wonderful blessing
to us to be here!!
2. The time my wife and I spent here was the best thing
we have ever done for our marriage. Our marriage is very strong, but as
with anything, there is room for improvement. Through dialogue we have
shared a lot of feelings with one another. We have been through some tough
times which has made our love for each other very strong, but this has
made our love even stronger.
3. Major impact on my relationship with my wife. I was
very resistant to coming. I'm forever thankful that I did.
4. This weekend had more impact than I expected. We
both realized the value of dialogue and listening to each other with 100%
of our concentration.
5. Awesome!!!! It helped us renew our commitment to
each other.
4. We are grateful for this truly meaningful weekend.
Comments from Fall 2006 Weekends
1. We had a good foundation in our marriage, but knew we could have more.
This weekend allowed us to learn how we could have more love, more expression
of our feelings, and more closeness in our marriage. It renewed our sense
of commitment to each other.
2. I was so impressed by the honesty and sincerity of the presenters. They
were real people like us with real day-to-day hassles, but showed such
love for each other, and were willing to share the details of their lives.
We could relate to them. They were wonderful examples. We came not knowing
what to expect, but we got so much out of it.
3. I found out more about my wife this weekend than I have in the 31 years
that we have been married.
4. This Marriage Encounter Weekend has been very intense. My husband and
I have re-discovered each other and the reasons we were initially drawn
together in the beginning of our relationship. It is very worthwhile. I
can't wait to share the news with other couples I love and care about!

Betsy and I were "encountered" in May of 1995. Since then we
have continued to participate in a local Spiral group of over 8 other encountered
couples. The highlight of our year is the Spiral weekend at Asilomar, Pacific
Grove, California. This year (2006) 14 couples participated. Some have
been coming for over 20 years. This weekend has grown to be like a honeymoon
of renewed commitment, understanding and FUN!!

We [went on] a weekend in 1980, since that time we improved a lot in our
relationship. we really feel free living together, we discovered so many
things through other people. Now we live temporarly in turkey, next year
we will move back to our home country,the belgium [sic]. Unfortunately here
(Turkey) M.E.does not exist. But still,we found 2 couples and with our experience
we can share a lot! Once a month we meet !
Life is so much better if you know how to express your deeper inner being,

have been God. My husband and I really need to go to this M.E. in November
in Long Beach. We cannot afford it at all, but God is telling me that we
will go, so I know that He will work something out as He ALWAYS DOES!!! I
have faith and somehow, someway, we will be there.

To all our ME friends,
No other experience has made such a profound difference in our lives, love,
and relationship .... encountered in 1977. It opened the door to bonding
with our teens years later, spiritual growth, and real peace of mind, because
it gave us the tools to live out God's best intentions for us.
